Eclipse Forensics

Our Forensic Team is led by Jim Stafford with 40 years of engineering experience.

For over 40 years, Jim has developed the skills and experience in engineering to become the leading force behind Eclipse Recording Studios www.eclipserecording.com. He has taken his passion for media engineering and production, where he’s garnered the deep understanding of how audio and video technologies function in a production environment, to start a new division within the business, called Eclipse Forensics www.eclipseforensics.com.

Specializing in all forms of audio and video forensics, Jim began this work at the request of Florida's 7th Judicial Circuit’s Homicide Investigation Unit with the Justin Barber case in 2005. That case and Jim's efforts, were presented nationally on network and cable television.

Since then he has worked on hundreds of cases for numerous law enforcement jurisdictions, private attorneys and individuals. And with the team Jim has assembled at Eclipse Forensics, they are poised and ready to assist in the development and analysis of audio, video and data forensics to serve your needs.
